Recommend, but didn't even my tone.
I got a bunch of samples of this deodorant on my several trips to David's Bridal to try on wedding dresses. I figured I would give it a try, since I got about three months supply in my "treat bag." I like it a lot as a deodorant -- it doesn't smell too strong (one of my deodorant pet peeves), dries clear, and keeps me feeling fresh all day -- and I'm someone who usually uses prescription strength deodorant! But I haven't seen any noticeable lightening or evening of my skin tone. I even have very fair (pale white) skin to begin with, but dark hair which leaves my underarms a bit dark after shaving. After months of using this deodorant, I don't see any improvement at all in my skin tone. I recommend, but not for what it says it does.

Love this product. It worked for me!
This is the only product that worked for me. I'm an African American woman and it worked on my skin tone perfectly. I can go sleeveless now without being afraid of raising my arms and I actually want to show off my now beautiful, tone underarms. Thank you for making this awesome deodorant. Oh and it keeps me fresh and dry all day.

It made me soo happy
I am a young Hispanic woman and this product was such a blessing for me. I have really sensitive skin and dark hair, so dark underarm wher a big problem for me. After using this product for about a week or two i saw a big change. It made me feel alot more confident about showing my underarms =)

Not for me
I have been using this product for over a year now and the darkness under my arms hasn't changed :( My skin complexion is about a Medium, i'm really disappointed because i was hoping that i finally found something the would get rid of the darkness. this product is obviously not for everyone,

Awesome!
When I bought this product I really didn't think it would work but I figured I would give it a try anyways. My underarms have always been dark and I could never seem to fix it, but I've been using this deodorant for about a week now and I see a HUGE difference. Well worth the money spent.

VERY SHOCKED!! (= I LOVE IT!
I am a young African American Woman, and every since i began shaving my underarms , darkening and irritation have always been an issue. I use to use Dove products all the time but they kinda of stopped working for me after the age of 18. This is the first time since then that I have started using Dove again and I can honestly say that it COMPLETELY holds true to what it says it will do.I can go sleeveless and not worry about wetness or ANY DARK Marks and Ive only been using this product since March 15 of this year! A blessing!
I have struggled with dark underarms for years, i tired all sorts of stuff and then I met a rep at the supermarket one evening who successfully convinced me to try it out. I am truly happy i have. Its been about 3 months now and my underarms are undeniably lighter. Just this morning i looked at my underarms and was overwhelmed by the changes. This product has changed my life. Thank you DOVE!

not made for me
I started using this product in November 2012. I tried this product because I wanted to get rid of the dark markings from shaving my armpits. Since it is a deodorant I thought it would help with my perspiration, but it does not hold for a long period of time for me. I have to keep cool after a few hours of application in order not to sweat too bad in that area. Now in February 2013, I also did not see much of a difference in my skin tone. I can say the shade of the darkness has lightened about a shade or 2 but not enough for me to say I would continue the use of this product. Perhaps it is not made for someone of a warmer dark complexion.
